XLF - puts are slightly expensive with more bias (lot more open positions), the longer you go the bias grows wider, I just looked at Jan and June options

sometimes if you enter too early, end up paying unnecessary premium. It happened to me on my puts with XLY, my call (direction) was right but entered the put too early and at the end didn't make much money. In MBLY's case, if the stock keeps few days around $50 then I am hoping premium for puts will erode little bit.

if the market thinks (or biased) on direction of the stock I.e., if more of you and I think a particular stock is going down then obviously the puts will be expensive. For example VRX puts were so damn expensive couple of months ago compared to calls with similar spread.

PM it always ran into resistance at 90-92 in the last 2 years. Then it fell to $75 range within 6months +/-3 months. June puts are not liquid, Jan 17 are expensive. What duration and sp are you thinking. It looks like going to drop sooner than later though.
