Concurrent package is best. Least problems ki use queues and worker threads i.e ExecutrService
fork/join can leverage hardware parallelism but is not as elegant as ExecutorService. So unless you want to squeeze out the last ounce of performance use ExecutorService
If possible get familiar with all classes of java.concurrent |
