options are very common at director or above, generally speaking. you are correct they are more prevalent in startups. it doesn't matter, if you already got good number RSUs they also vest right away at takeover price when it happens. good luck.

i have never heard of options for public tech companies guruji....startups ki vinnaanu. not sure if it's common here or I am not that pay grade yet CLIPART--biggrin
